How we compare
How Builder Compare evaluates tools
Our guides are written for people who need a useful shortlist before they commit to a tool. We focus on current product positioning, pricing notes, workflow fit, and the tradeoffs a buyer should check next.
1. Start with the decision
Each page begins with the choice a reader is likely trying to make: switch tools, compare two options, or understand the best fit for a workflow.
2. Check official sources
We prefer product documentation, pricing pages, official help centers, and first-party product pages over secondhand claims.
3. Separate fit from hype
A tool can be right for one workflow and wrong for another, so pages explain who should choose each option.
4. Keep commercial notes quiet
We do not rank tools by commercial programs. Recommendations should make sense before any link is added.
5. Recheck volatile claims
Pricing, credits, model limits, and product names change often, so pages show update dates and avoid fragile claims.
6. Improve useful pages
Pages with clear demand deserve deeper testing, clearer examples, and tighter recommendations over time.
